Contents. Emulation Information Online Play Monster Hunter Tri cannot be played online since April 30, 2013, because Capcom shut down the Monster Hunter Tri servers. Problems Custom Colors By default, Skip EFB CPU Access is enabled for this game. Without it, the character creation menus run extremely slow even on the most powerful systems. But, without EFB CPU Access the custom color selector during character creation does not work. If you wish to use the custom color selector, uncheck Skip EFB CPU Access, use the selector, and then recheck it to resume character creation. 'Skip EFB CPU Access' is not needed for regular gameplay.
But it causes no issues other than the custom color selector and greatly improves the character creation menus - hence it's being on by default. Blown Out Bloom The game uses EFB Access to CPU in order to do its bloom effects. Because it is so slow for us to enable that for this case, the bloom will look blown out by default. Unchecking Skip EFB Access to CPU will fix the bloom, but, make the game unplayably slow even on the strongest of computers. Configuration Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
Graphics Config Setting Notes Skip EFB Access from CPU On Turn it Off for the custom color selector and proper bloom Version Compatibility The graph below charts the compatibility with Monster Hunter Tri since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred. Compatibility can be assumed to align with the indicated revisions. Speed will drop at about 2-5FPS during battles with many monster on the same screen but will revert back to full speed over time, 27-28FPS in caves full of monsters. Incorrect Bloom rendering is a defect of this revision but can be fixed with patched revisions made by other users which has a shortcut key to disable the bloom.

Lowest possible FPS is 25 but only when fighting many Jaggis, Jaggias and a Geat Jaggi at the same time. Incorrect Bloom rendering is still an issue but can be bypassed by using patched revisions.

Here's a guide on how you can play the Monster Hunter Tri on your PC STEPS: 1. I'd recommend you to get any torrent software, I'm using Torch (Web Browser that has a Torrent support): Download Here - 2. Download any Wii Emulator, I'm using Dolphin and it works good: Download Here - (Download the latest one: v3.5-367) 3. Next: Download Here - 4.
Click on the 'GET THIS TORRENT' button and it will automatically download the file via torrent and opens up your Torch Browser. Once the download is done, open your Dolphin Emulator and click on the 'Open' button. Search the folder that you have downloaded earlier, open the folder and you should see a file named 'mhtpwii(compress)', open it. The game should start up, enjoy DOLPHIN CONTROL SETTINGS: 1. Press the 'Wiimote' button. Select 'Configure' beside the 'Emulated Wiimote'. Ahhh, forgot to include the minimum settings:/ Wait, I'll edit the post later, for now, this is my spec: Graphic Card: Intel® HD Graphics (Integrated) Processor: Intel® Core i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz RAM: 4GB My FPS is around 17 28, it all really depends on the areas.
When I'm at the farm, the FPS is quite high, while at the Village, it's not so high. When I'm hunting, it all depends on the quantity of the units present at in the area, average fps would be 20. If you want to have a nice fps, this would be the recommended specs: Graphic Card: 1GB Processor: 3.54GHz RAM: 48GB Take a look at this: This post has been edited by defskull: Jul 24 2013, 08:51 PM. What's your PC Spec? To tell you the truth, at first, the fps really bugs me especially when outside the Town when hunting.
But when days go by, I'm starting to get the hang of it - with the low fps world. Well, if you want to play it smoothly, try the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite with PSP Emulator. It's the 2nd installment of the Monster Hunter Series. The game originally is from the PSP, and perhaps that is why the game has high fps, because it is lighter compared to Wii version. Will post it in the future for the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite installation/configuration. What's your PC Spec? Dolphin Emulator has created a network/internet play all around the world via Dolphin Netplay feature - but it has some limitations such as it can't play this game or so I heard.
You can however play Mario Kart with it via internet. Avid dnxhd quicktime. Also, if you are a true fan of Monster Hunter Series, you won't feel 'lonely' because it makes you a true warrior to hunt alone and defeat monsters on your own. You will also have a companion to follow you and hunt alongside with you, but it's not a human, it's a Shakalaka! He's quite strong though, depending on what mask you equip on him. I once saw he blocked a charge from a Rathian, huh.

Are you an emulator developer? If you'd like a user flair reflecting that.
It's safe so long as you don't set things like voltage levels too high. My 955BE had a safe CPU voltage of 1.5V, though I kept it at 1.365V since a 3.6GHz OC didn't need that much extra voltage to be 100% stable. I'm not sure what the safe levels are for your particular CPU, but I'm sure others have already OCed that model. A quick google search should turn up some results. EDIT: Nevermind. The 1045T is only available through OEM channels meaning you have a prebuilt system.
I wouldn't bother OCing one of those. Well thanks for your help anyway. Still tho could someone with knowledge on the best possible settings for dolphin on my rig mabey hit me with a helpfull link or even post the settings here if you have figured out a way for a near perfect 30fps at all times.
Im willing to bite at anything here ive downloaded previous builds of dolphin even some presettups off of people but they are often worse than the generic setup of the r7580 x64 build. I had some issues with a diffrent emu like im having here but some simple clicks in some tick boxes and whammo perfect emu.
Of all games. So im optimistic that one of you emu gurus has my answer. If your video driver is up to date, you can try enabling the OpenCL texture decoder. This, like the display list option, also increases the likelihood of a Dolphin crash. This will relieve some stress on the CPU and may give a small speed boost. Usually it just causes a minor slowdown.
The reason I'm pointing it out is because the hex core AMD CPUs can automatically turbo (increasing speed), but only with 3 or fewer active cores. The fewer cores being utilized, the higher it turbos.
You can also try some of the various 'Disable x' options. It sucks to disable stuff but it's certainly something to consider as doing so will increase speed. Directions:Unrar the file above.Open your Dolphin folder then open your user folder. Copy and paste the unrared folder's contents to the user folder and copy and replace all files when you get the prompt.

When playing I recommend Disconnecting your internet and then any programs running in your background including antivirus.I found this to add decent fps in high populated sections of the game. This Build has about 10 hours of my own time testing and retesting dumped into it. Some spots like areas with no monsters or NPC's run a higher fps than its supposed to. Not that this is a problem but just an FYI.
You may need to reconfigure your remote controlls to default as I use a PC controller. BIG PROPS TO Masta.G.86 For HIS HELP!
